The work itself was not carried out to a satisfactory standard, and I had to return shortly after because the issue wasn’t properly resolved. Instead of taking responsibility, the staff were dismissive and showed little interest in addressing the problem.

I have had the worse experience in the past using garages and had issues finding the correct one for a very long time. However, ever since I spoke to Kay from Southall Autos and Tyres he’s made the whole process so easy and helpful. From start to finish the process was done professionally, on time and most importantly honestly. They changed the clutch on my insignia after breaking down, and collected on the same evening using breakdown service. I cannot recommend them enough, one of the best businesses I’ve dealt after a very long time. Thank you guys 👊 💯

I accepted a repair quote through Whocanfixmycar, and choosing this garage was the worst decision of my life.
My car was in their custody from 4 January to 13 January 2026. During this time, I was repeatedly told the vehicle was “not drivable” and waiting for parts. I did not have possession of the car and did not authorise it to be driven on public roads.
Despite this, I later received two ULEZ penalty charge notices for dates when the garage still had my vehicle. This directly contradicts their claim that the car was not drivable.
When I challenged them, the garage denied everything and tried to shift blame by claiming my number plates may have been cloned. They advised me to contact the police, which I did. However, when Transport for London requested evidence, the garage completely stopped responding.
If the vehicle truly was not drivable, it should not have been triggering ULEZ cameras. The only logical conclusion is that the car was driven while in their care, or I was deliberately misled about its condition.
Their refusal to cooperate afterward only makes this look worse — no transparency, no accountability, and no honesty. Before cutting off communication, they even tried to discourage me from leaving an honest review, sending messages about “karma” instead of taking responsibility.
I paid this garage over £800 for work I am now not even sure was necessary, as the vehicle was clearly being driven. On top of that, I am now facing over £180 in penalty charges because of their dishonesty. Honest, hardworking people should not have to worry about karma — lying and dishonest people should.
Instead of worrying about how my review might affect their reputation, this garage should focus on being honest, taking responsibility, and covering the charges they caused by using my vehicle without permission.

Absolutely fantastic service from the garage, start to finish was just spot on. Especially Kay he was very well spoken, professional and knowledgeable. I had a problem with my car for a while. I went to so many mechanics and none of them knew what to do. I visited Southall autos and tyres and they sorted out my car within a day. No ifs or buts. They took my car, found the problem and fixed it nice and easy. The process and the team were top quality. Will be going again and I’d highly recommend anyone with car issues to visit them!

The steering column was replaced in October 2025. At the end of January 2026 (4 months later), the steering column failed again, and the clunking sound from before the repair returned. I contacted and messaged this company about this situation, but received no response, and it doesn't look like I will.

Good experience at this garage used their service for the first time had some issues diagnosing the cars issue had some work carried out but still had a light coming up and going into limp mode. The owner Kay had helped me and reassured me that the car is all good. Also took me out on a test drive with him driving explaining everything to me about the light that comes so overall I am happy.

I visited this garage today as I had a noise coming from the nearside front wheel which sounded like a squeaky old bed lol, and from the moment I arrived at the garage I was taken care of. The service I received was just outstanding. They said they could repair it there and then, and they did it all in under 2 hours from me arriving, even the price was great. I have been driving for 40 years and never had a service like this from a garage before. Thank you to everyone at that garage.
